Ready. Done. Let's Go!

I love this room. I love the time I have spent in there getting it ready for this little baby. Now, sweet baby-- move out of my womb! Did you hear me? Yes. I said it. Move out! You're being evicted. This baby thinks its really funny to tease me with labor.... I go in... and nothing changes and then I'm back at home. I don't like being teased. I really don't. Unless during sexy time. Tmi? Lol.

Since we are in a rental home, I cannot paint. So I used vinyl decor & wood.
Want to know how much I spent on this room?

$100 Bedding with diaper stacker
$7 Monkey Stickers
$6 12x12 Elephant, Monkey, & Giraffe Canvas
$10 Ryker's name
$50 dresser (not photographed but it's under the canvas)

The rest was gifted or items I already had.

  1. Walking, that's what sent me into labor. Not just like a quick walk around the park, but walking almost non-stop all day long ( as well as climbing up and down the stairs a ton). It was so not fun at 40 weeks pregnant but I was in labor that evening and had my sweet pea the next day so I figured it was worth the effort :)
Also, his room is SO cute! You did a great job!! Thats one lucky little man!

    1. Aww :) Thank you! I'm happy with how it turned out. I have tried pretty much everything. (I won't do caster oil.)Now that baby CAN safely come out, I want him to and he's being stubborn after all that work to keep him in a little longer. Lol I have tried cleaning, scrubbing, essential oils, exercise ball, sex (tmi?),spicy mexi food including jalapeno salsa, ginger cookies and today I started evening primrose oil capsules. I walked 2 miles today... Obviously I'm not very patient. :)I wish you lived closer! Also, I've had major consistent intense contractions and every sign of labor (except breaking water but mine didn't break on it's own with Jaden).... but once I go in, I don't progress. So it's frustrating.

    2. Stubborn little boy! lol. I not the patient type either! I tried dance central on the kinect (ridiculous looking with a huge belly), raspberry tea, driving down bumpy roads, sex, bouncing on a birthing ball, nipple stimulation (tmi? lol), spicy food, Asian food, sea food... I could get contractions started
but couldn't keep them going until the "big day". I think the most annoying question I kept getting was " aren't you scared about giving birth?". Um no, I was scared that my pelvis was going to crack from having a baby down there for so long! (she dropped about 6 weeks before I delivered, ouch).
Hang in there Mama! He will be here VERY soon I just know it! And until then don't let people get to you, its apparently a law that people have to make really stupid comments to pregnant women as they get closer to delivering. Bad law LOL.
